Jared Nooney
Jared Nooney graduated from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2019. During law school, Jared was a member of The University of South Dakota School of Law’s Trial Team and competed in multiple trial competitions around the country. Jared received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from South Dakota State University in 2013. Prior to attending law school, Jared worked as a commercial analyst for a large regional bank. He was admitted to practice law in South Dakota in 2019.
In August of 2019, Jared joined Nooney & Solay, LLP as an associate and became a partner in January 0f 2024. Jared is licensed to practice law in state court in South Dakota and the U.S. District for the District of South Dakota. Jared’s primary practice consists of litigation, including civil litigation (representing both plaintiffs and defendants), appeals, family law, and criminal defense. Jared also represents businesses, primarily when disputes arise with contractors, customers, and other individuals. Jared is a member of the Pennington County Bar Association, a member of the South Dakota Bar, a member of the American Bar Association, and is the Vice President of the Woodland Hills Sanitary District.
Jared was born and raised in the Black Hills. In his free time, Jared enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife, family, & friends.
